IMSE-CNM researchers Gustavo Liñán-Cembrano and José Manuel de la Rosa have been awarded third prize in the "Best Live Demo" category at the 57th edition of the International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS).
It was through the article "Live Demonstration: Using ANNs to Predict the Evolution of Spectrum Occupancy" for which both scientists have achieved this distinguished international recognition.
This event, which took place in Singapore from May 19 to 22, is the world's leading forum for researchers in the active fields of circuit and systems theory, design and implementation. On this occasion, the edition has been inspired by the theme of "circuits and systems for sustainable development", which is perfectly aligned with the objective of the host city, as it is among the most sustainable places in the world.
Among the main topics, those related to artificial intelligence and deep learning, intelligent automotive systems, innovative neurotechnologies, food safety and climate change, among others, have stood out.
