The award ceremony was organized jointly by the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC).
The thesis directed by IMSE researchers Gloria Huertas and Pablo Pérez and prepared by Santiago Fernández Scagliusi, has been awarded in the Public Call "YOUNG AWARD FOR SCIENTIFIC CULTURE 2024" by the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, specifically with the Award for Research in the field of Experimental Sciences.
The study, entitled "Bioimpedance Spectroscopy-Based Edema Supervision Wearable System for Noninvasive Monitoring of Heart Failure," was presented at our Institute's facilities in June 2024. Its interesting results have earned it this distinction, which highlights the relevance of research in medical technologies applied to cardiovascular health and underscores the importance of developing innovative solutions for monitoring chronic diseases.
The award ceremony was held in the Salón Colón and was jointly organized by the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas.
