Projects. MEMVIS

Neuromorphic memristive hardware for vision recognition

The work that will be developed in this proposal is derived directly from the main results obtained in project Nano-mind. In particular, it combines the audio event sensing and processing proposed by the US group and the opto-magnetic event-driven sensor developed by the UV group with the results of the memristive event-processing chip fabricated and tested by the IMSE group. These results will be the foundation to mature applications in particle detection in microfluidics, and audio-vision processing targeted for automotive driving and environments requiring high-speed reaction with low power budget.
