Women and men who do Science for you

The September 29, 2017, at the same time that other 300 European cities, the European Researchers’ Night was held in the eight Andalusian capitals. The ERN is a European project sponsored by the European Commission under the Marie Curie Sktodowska Actions in the Horizon 2020 program.

This is a Europe-wide public event dedicated to popular science and fun learning. Its main objective is to bring the scientific research to citizenship and show its impact on everyday life, in interactive and engaging ways.

The project, coordinated by Fundación Descubre, brings together the participation of scientific institutions in the eight Andalusian provinces: Consejería de Economía y Conocimiento, the nine public universities in Andalusia, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Andalusian Foundation Progress and Health, and IMGEMA-Royal Botanical Garden of Córdoba.

The IMSE staff took part in the tent 5 at Plaza Nueva (Seville) and the Centro de Iniciativas Culturales (CICUS) in Calle Madre de Dios, 1.
